Schools will open in Gujarat from November 23. Standards 9 to 12 will start as per SOP. Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said the work on secondary and higher secondary education would start from November 23. STD Class of 9 to 12 will be started as per SOP. Government of India SOP will be followed.

Under normal circumstances the first session starts in the month of June and lasts for 105 days. The session ends with a 21-day Diwali holiday. The 21-day holiday usually starts two-three days before Diwali and ends around Devdivali, but this time the schedule has changed due to the corona.
